TED College Foundation Schools
TED College Foundation Schools, one of Ankara's landmark educational buildings, is a comprehensive campus project distinguished by its architectural approach in support of contemporary educational philosophy. Designed by Uygur Mimarlık, the project is built on the idea that educational buildings should serve not only as spaces for learning, but as living environments that foster social interaction and cultural development. As Novawood, within the scope of our collaboration with Uygur Mimarlık, Nova-Pine was specified as the exterior cladding solution for the project. Bringing the warmth of natural wood together with modern architectural lines, Nova-Pine reinforced the building's architectural identity while harmonizing with the campus's cohesive design language. Selected for the facades, Nova-Pine meets both the aesthetic and technical demands of educational buildings through its natural appearance, long-lasting performance, and high resistance to outdoor conditions. The timeless character of wood lends the building's large-scale architectural composition a warm and inviting atmosphere, while also supporting a sustainable material approach. The TED College Foundation Schools project stands out as one of the successful applications where Novawood's natural wood solutions meet high-quality architectural design. The Nova-Pine facade system has added value to the project's architectural expression while creating a natural, enduring surface that enriches the user experience.
