Founded in 2005, Novawood is Turkey's first and pioneering producer of thermally modified timber. Across twenty-one years, we have seen wood not as a building material but as a medium that brings character to space, depth to architecture and warmth to living. This conviction has carried us from a single production facility in Bolu Gerede to projects in over eighty countries.

No. 03Pioneering Thermowood
Thermowood technology came to Turkey through Novawood.
From the day we entered the industry, we built our production line on knowledge, R&D and longevity — not capacity alone. Turkey's only solid-wood R&D laboratory operates in-house; every production batch is processed with state-of-the-art equipment verified against international standards.

We source our raw material exclusively from sustainable, certified forests. We believe forests are not merely a resource — they balance climate, protect biodiversity and form the most precious inheritance we leave to future generations.
Our Thermowood production is entirely natural — no chemical additives, only a quiet agreement between heat, steam and wood. The result is a material that resists decay, holds its dimensional stability and refuses to lose its form across decades.
