The special black texture of Nova-Croco is created not only by burning, but by applying a special solution in advance. Afterwards, the oil treatment is applied to the surface with a special varnish compatible with the exterior conditions. Thus, a semi-dull glossy appearance is obtained on the surface and the surface breakages are minimized.
Fingerjoints are created by making a set of rectangular cuts using special saws in two pieces of wood, which are then glued together to form long pieces of material. The advantage of fingerjointed material is the constant size of the end product. Glued together using polyurethane adhesives, these little pieces will create fixed long lengths, stable and defect free boards.
Nova-laminated products enable to achieve desired dimensions for applications that require larger sizes of wood such as underconstruction, pergola, door and window scantlings, and hand rail. Novawood laminated boards are bonded together with MUF (Melamine Urea Formaldehyde) glue, which is an enduring glue type for the outdoor weather conditions.
